The report surveyed 1,000 US consumers too January 18, 2021, with the aim of better understanding consumer experiences with online in-store pickup solutions.

Most important findings
Most consumers have used BOPIS. 75.4% of those surveyed have used BOPIS at least once.
Consumers use BOPIS repeatedly. More than 56% of the respondents used BOPIS 6 times or more in the past year, 8.2% of them use BOPIS 20 times or more.
Roadside pick-up could improve your BOPIS offering. 34.3% of the respondents stated that they would use the BOPIS options more often if the dealer brought items into their vehicle.
BOPIS has to be efficient. Queuing to collect items is a major distraction for consumers buying items online and in-store for pickup.
