Broadway Central Market will host the brand’s largest roadside location. Covering more than 3,100 square feet, the roadside location will also serve 16 nearby zip codes for home delivery.

“Our curb and home delivery service is in great demand and we are excited to bring these easy and convenient shopping options to our San Antonio customers,” said Jonas Hernandez, general manager of Broadway Central Market, in a statement. “With the largest roadside location for Central Market, we’re ready to serve our dedicated customers across the Alamo City.”

As a specialty food destination for HE-B, Central Market now offers its customers digital access to more than 15,000 products for pick-up and delivery to the curb. With Broadway Central Market, all 10 Central Market locations have curb and home delivery.

With the mobile Central Market app, customers can browse the store up to seven days in advance, place an order right up to the curb or start a delivery. From the home screen, you can shop by browsing departments or selecting items from curated collections. Customers can also reorder previous orders or shop for previous purchases. For easier in-store shopping, customers can create a shopping list by simply adding items to their shopping cart and switching to checklist mode. Customers can use their HEB credentials for Central Market web and mobile app accounts.

HEB, based in San Antonio, has more than 250 HEB and Central Market stores with curb service. The company continues to roll out the service across the state, helping HE-B give Texans more options to choose how to shop, pay, and receive their products.

To mark the opening of the curb at the Broadway location, Central Market announced a $ 5,000 gift to the University of Incarnate Word’s Cupboard Food Pantry program. The student-led program is a food kitchen that addresses food insecurity among students, staff, and the surrounding community.
