I’ve been wanting to do a brisket, but haven’t really been wanting to go into the grocery stores if I could help it (I consider getting a brisket a luxury, and didn’t feel like going into the store for a luxury item).
Ordered from HEB here in Houston. They had prime at a good price, and they actually picked a decent brisket! Only thing I didn’t like was their choice of charcoal, but as you can see from the video, it worked out well enough.
Used a Weber Smokey Mountain – 22.5″.
